Nulla praeconia, nulla vestigia, nulla pecunia. Hic nemo vendit, nemo emitur.

Decem vultus, una tabula, unus dies. Specta, divina, disce. Et si erras, saltem pulchre erra.

We, who each day contemplate the faces of ten peoples, declare the following.
In the age of thinking machines, when artificial minds write, calculate and judge for us, one thing is left that is ours alone: to perceive. Therefore every moment of the senses should be as delightful as possible.
The field of daily games for guessing the origins of peoples was a sorry sight: bad taste, clumsy interfaces, crammed with advertisers' billboards, overrun by people who wanted nothing but a quick buck.
A game is not merchandise. A player is not merchandise. Whatever is set before the eyes should be a gift, not a trap.
So we painted the world as it was once painted in the galleries of the Vatican: azure seas, lands washed in lime, lines of gold. We chose letters like those once printed in Venice and Rome.
We know nothing about you, and we don't wish to. Your name, your scores and your friends stay on your little machine; what you send to friends is sealed with a key we don't hold.
No advertising, no tracking, no money. Here no one sells and no one is bought.
Ten faces, one map, one day. Look, guess, learn. And if you are wrong, at least be wrong beautifully.
