The daily EthnoGuessr, in a fresco atlas
Each day EthnoGuessr deals ten ethnic groups. For each one you see a male and a female facial composite, an average of many photographs, and place one pin on the world map where you think the group comes from. A pin inside the group's region, or close to it, scores the full 5,000 points. The score falls away with distance and reaches zero at 5,000 km.
ethnogvessr plays the same ten rounds as hbd.gg, the home of EthnoGuessr, and scores them the same way. The room is its own: a limewash atlas after the Vatican map gallery, a plate of your whole day to post, and standings with friends that our server can't read. No accounts, no ads, no tracking. A new day begins at midnight UTC.
The composites are averages, not portraits of real people, and no face tells you where any one person is from.
